SPIELRAUM!
Spielraum (engl. playground, but also meaning leeway, range, scope, margin...) is a very nice place with an open concept in Berlin-Kreuzberg!
Basically it is an art-gallery, but you never know what comes next.
When you sign-up to their newsletter you will be always top-informed!
This place is full of surprises, so it is ideal for doing some UNOIKI events there like our UNdefinition release party on 1st of May!
check it out! come over!

Bleepsequence001 - ARCHITEXTURES
Bleepsequence launches as a netlabel with this unique collaborative project bringing together a handful of artists from around the world like
Humeka, Storlon, Grau, psycoded, choenyi, Chris Firenze, Dr.Nojoke and Revy, who is the initiator of Bleepsequence.
This compilation was created by forming a shared collection of stripped down looped audio elements and setting foundations for rebuilding the sounds into new abstract structures.

Art - Ecology - Education
Today I got to know a guy called Lars Schmidt at a small private party, who talked about permaculture and his project Art-Ecology-Education, which I find extremely interesting and important at the same time!
AEE establishes connections between art, ecology and education to inspire new ideas and pathways, and provide interdisciplinary access to knowledge that enables people to create a healthy and life-sustaining future.
'Wealth means: a deep understanding of the natural world.'

Thumbnail Music Redux
Philip Sherburne rediscovered a long feature on minimalism that he wrote for Urbansounds.com, a long-defunct web 'zine, where he did his earliest writing about music.
This one is entitled "Thumbnail Music Redux || Six artists talk about minimalism",
wherein he interviewed Steve Reich, Carsten Nicolai, Richie Hawtin, Stewart Walker, Taylor Dupree and Thomas Brinkmann.
The interviews were made in 1999!
He re-published them on his website www.philipsherburne.com.

WORKS - Works is not a Job
Works is an open source community of creative people.
A place where creative individuals can meet to inspire one another, exchange their visions and contribute to each other's evolution without commercial objectives.
bringing creative people together (from such diverse fields as fashion, art, photography, graphic design, video, music...) around a common source of inspiration which will be uploaded every month
to the site.
Works calls it "Actions" (them) and "Reactions" (you)!
The result: a free forum of expression, artistic confrontation and an ever-growing community.
The goal: organise regular expositions in Paris in order to present the work and vision of all "workers" and to prove that from a single idea, without constraints, anything is possible.
The desire: to create a limited edition fanzine to showcase the Reactions received from the "workers" and to document their activities !!
Take part by downloading the "Actions" and send back "Reactions".
Want to contribute to the free creative fightclub?
