KJ aka choenyi is a medical language specialist living in the Southern Appalachian mountains.

Having been raised with a stereo system and a record collection, he has also always been interested in the nature of sound itself.

Having played various instruments since childhood and after years of psychoacoustic self-experimentation, he began composing electronic music in 1999.

Primary among his influences are Tibetan liturgy, European techno, Japanese noise, interference patterns and incidental sonic textures.
